About Iron Hoof Preparedness
The Vision and passion of Iron Hoof Preparedness!
After a hurricane hit northern Tennessee and seeing so many underprepared people, I knew I needed to start preparing the community to be able to respond to emergencies. Based on the principal to respond not react this means being ready before any problems come.
So, I created the G.O.A.T. course with help from the committee of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care guidelines and my military medical training which is comprised of nursing, EMT, combat trauma management, and labor and delivery skills. Iron Hoof Preparedness partnerships.
Here at Iron Hoof preparedness, we are dedicated to bringing you the best training and gear for the mission. That is why we have partnered with two of the best organizations to make that happen. Firstly, we are aligned with the Committe of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care which provides up to date real world data on how to treat and manage real world emergency events. Second, we are partnered with North American Rescue (NAR), which is the leading producer in high quality medical equipment and tactical products. North American Rescues manufacturing headquarters is located in North Carolina and supplies the US military with medical equipment. This company has produced equipment that has saved tens of thousands and has earned a reputation you can bet your life on. Iron Hoof Preparedness is honored to be able to have both of these organizations backing us in our efforts to create a safer community.
Courses Offered
Our main courses.
This course offers the ability to be certified or re-certify in American Red Cross BLS and Stop the bleed. BLS is a great place for anyone to begin their preparedness journey and here at Iron Hoof Preparedness we are dedicated to giving you a great learning experience. We also offer Babysitting courses through the American Red Cross curriculum.

Emergency casualty care for the beginner or professional. ln this 7–8-hour course we build a foundation following the P.M.A.R.C.H.P algorithm. This will include a wide variety of training and scenarios, all while following the Committee of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care guidelines. (Classroom and Hands on)

American Red Cross Babysitter trainings is a necessary component for any youth trying to start a successful and safe childcare service. During this course the participants will learn how to start a baby-sitting business, basic childcare skills, leadership skills, and lifesaving skills that will make them capable, confident, and reliable caretakers.

Tactical Emergency Care (K.I.I.D) Course
Price varies. $155
Key Interventions In Distress (K.I.I.D).
This 2–3-hour emergency care course focuses on the application of key interventions to save lives. While this is a shortened and less informative class then the (G.O.A.T) it by no means make you any less capable to respond to an incident.

Iron Hoof Preparedness is pleased to offer group training and teamwork workshops. This is the Tactical Emergency Care G.O.A.T. course with a more unit or organizational mindset. Great for church medical teams, School response, organizational readiness, or small team medical tactics building. This course is extremely focused on preparing the community to respond to any situation.

In these lessons we will explore topical questions and needs for our local area. These will pertain to a healthy lifestyle, medicinal herbs, back packing, hunting, camping and whatever the community is interested in. Also be sure to check in on our affiliated partners for other health and preparedness services.
